Its been a crazy few days and I have just enough time to unpack, get my washing done and then pack again! This is by no means a complaint, but just taking a breath, me taking a step back reflecting, absorbing and loving!
The last 10 days have been a whirlwind, Joburg to London, London to Glasgow, Glasgow to Edinburgh, Edinburg to London, London to Atlanta, then back to London and finally home… before I go back to London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. That’s around 40 000 kms spent in the Air…
What did my whirlwind consist of?
A press trip with KFM to Scotland
Hosting a suite for my guys in Scotland to watch Lady Gaga
Having a party on a plane with Rudimental and Gorgan City
Breakfast with Richard Branson
A rooftop party in Atlanta with Janez and Lunga from the Mancave
Taking Greg from Greg and Lucky on a whirlwind tour of London
And eventually collapsing in my hotel bed with no time to shop
Let me take you back to the 3rd point, yes a party on a plane with Rudimental and Gorgon City.
Here at Virgin Atlantic we launched our new 787 Dream-liner and what better way to launch it then have a party all the way to our new destination HOT-lanta (Atlanta).
We boarded the plane, welcomed by Rudimental, a personalized coke and shown to our seats, take off and landing were the only times that we had bums in the seats, it was a real party plane, Vodka was flowing, bands were playing and music was pumping as we flew across the ocean!
Word on the street (plane) is that there were new members to join the mile high club, which mad Richard very proud!!
The party continued until we took off again from Atlanta to London… then and only then did people sleep!!
Its been crazy, but I wouldn’t change it, I now have enough time to pack again, before I head on out with our Idols and MTV to London and then back to Glasgow to attended the 2014 EMA’s… yes that is correct… the flipping MTV European Music awards…
