Best foot forward

It has always been said that one should always put their best foot forward, when you are putting your best foot forward surely that foot should be in a good shoe!

I attended the Spitz Winter preview, and what’s better than a Friday filled with Shoes and Champagne.

Shoes and Champagne… Nothing better!

Fashionistas, editors, bloggers and people a like ooohhed and aaaahed over boots, monk straps,
I did a lot of the oohing and aaahing over a few pairs. The biggest ooohhs and aaahs started as soon as I walked into the preview, my eyes locked on a pair of Kurt Geiger, black leather strapped and buckled Chelsea’s!

I have had a sudden obsession over and for Chelsea boots. I gravitated towards every pair that Spitz had on offer. The classic, the ones with zip and ones with straps and buckles. I recently bought a pair of classic suede Chelsea’s in London, the home of the iconic shoe thanks to the Beatles and the second pair will be purchased very soon thanks to the amazing people and Spitz and Styling Concepts

Winter is going to be HOT!!!

There is no hiding the fact that I am completely obsessed with Scotch and Soda, as I sit here and type this blog, Im wearing a Scotch and Soda Shirt.

Yesterday I was invited to preview the Autumn Winter 2015 collection, and Wow what a collection. I wanted it all!! It’s a wardrobe as versatile as you make it. Its classic with a twist, elegant with an edge, everyday but on the next level.

The fabrics are luxurious and the colours rich this season. Winter is not going to be sad, grey and dreary, instead, stylish, luxurious, sexy and cool.

The guys at Scotch and Soda say “ Pied de poule, moody flowers, camouflage or paisley, it’s patterns all over this season. We have played around with different textures, colours and jacquard weaves. A strong collection guarantees you will have a stylish and warm winter”

I love the names they have given the collections, Scandic Sport, Salon Bizarre, Acid Rock and Classic Rebels . Each piece that I picked up yesterday I imagined myself wearing it somewhere in the world, The streets on London, the bustle of New York or the desserts of Dubai.

I cancan guarantee that a few of these pieces will be joining me on my travels around the world!
