VMA 2014 Fashion Winners and then the Ugly!!

Can we please start by bowing down bitches to Beyonce… WOW… she killed it, This woman dominates every performance!!

This year I took a personal interest as I am lucky enough to be attending the EMAs in Glasgow this November. Yes… Im going to the EMA’s, I would never have ever thought that I would be lucky enough to walking the red carpet and attending the show!! I am already thinking about outfits,jeans and a tee just wont work, but I still have until November to sort that out, I will prob be calling on Miss Sarah Anne Styles, my friend and stylist in London to find me something to wear that looks good and keeps me warm ( Glasgow in November is F-off cold).

Now lets get back to business… lets talk fashion…

1st I would like to unsee what Katy Perry and Riff Raff wore, but maybe they were going green by recycling Britney and Justin’s matching denim disaster from a few years back. terrible matching denim Versace. Donnatella, Katy and Riff Raff should all be slapped!!

Adam Levin always looks good, everything he ever wears just looks cool, the coolness that this man oozes is just unfair!!

The monochromatic trend is possibly the easiest trend to ever wear, just wear black and white and you have it waxed, well try not look like a convict in stripes! Usher, the king of swag killed this look on the red carpet.

Now we get to my best dressed male of the night, Nick Jonas was my pick. This guy has gone from teenage whatever he was to Well Groomed and classy. Nick Jonas is wearing Vivienne Westwood. I loved this jacket from the moment I saw it. One of Vivienne’s people were wearing it the Vivienne party I attended in July.

Justin Timberlake Dreams

I am privileged enough to work for a brand known the world over and possibly one of the best entrepreneurs of our time, I work for Virgin Atlantic and at the top the one and only Sir Richard Branson. With working for this brand it comes along with some amazing opportunities and experiences that I couldn’t get elsewhere. Recently I travelled to London and Scotland on a press trip filled with tourist outings, dinners, laughs, copious amount of drinks and lots of memories….. but this is not a “Dear Diary” entry, this is about the 1 experience that was a dream come true.

On the last night in Scotland we were privileged enough to be invited by the SECC Hyrdo to watch the Talented, amazing, stylish, Justin Timberlake. We arrived at the Hydro and whisked off to a private box where we sipped on champagne and all the other things luxuries that come with a box just for us.
Before I knew it my dream was coming true and Justin Timberlake took to the stage, it was 3 hours of pure insanity, that man knows how to out on a show. The staging, lighting choreography… all AMAZING, but lets get to the point… this man’s wardrobe is on a another level.

Insane moves all in Tom Ford

More than just a suit and tie: Tom Ford has created an entire tour wardrobe for Justin Timberlake which numbers 600 pieces. The pieces are immaculate, a dream for any fashion conscious persons wardrobe, the man dances on stage for 3 hours. I would hate to sweat in anything from Tom Ford, I would rather frame the pieces and just stare at them. Not only is he dancing in Tom Ford, his feet are adorned with Christian Louboutin… not any old shoes to run around on stage with… Christian Louboutin, I’m sure the red soles are scuffed and worn-out, but all well worth it.
The concert isn’t just a show it’s an extravaganza, this man gives 150% all the time. It brought tears to my eyes, I will most definitely be seeing him again. If you ever get the chance… do it, spend the money, it’s worth it.

Fashion LOVE

When it comes to style and fashion I like a piece with a bit of fun or quirkiness, when I saw the heart print shirt from Burberry it was an instant hit on my list, I loved it, excuse the pun. There was a slight problem when it came to this shirt…. Its Burberry…. and Burberry is Expensive, I could only dream of wearing a shirt that the likes of Harry Styles and Victoria Beckham don.

Then my dream came true, I was trawling my usual online shopping sites (ASOS and River Island and the list goes on) and I came across the heart shirt on River Island, it took me a whole 5 seconds to send Sarah Ann Styles ( Personal shopper and UK Stylist) a text begging her to find me that shirt, a few hours later I received a text saying card swiped and shirt purchased, my “Burbuerryish” heart shirt was on its way.

I had the perfect event to wear my heart shirt too…. I wore my heart on my sleeve and showed my love for JT at his 20/20 world Tour in Glasgow Scotland. The Justin Timberlake show is a topic for another blog, that man is insane!
